In 2009 Carriacou Parang Festival Committe teamed up with the Ministry of Carriacou & Petit Martinique Affairs & Vibes 13 Sound System to organise the annual "Parang Friday Night Hosannah Christmas Carol Singing" among groups and individuals throughout Carriacou & Petit Martinique.
This event was held for the first time at the Mini-Stadium at Lauriston, patrons turned out in their numbers to witness the performances of the various groups and individuals, as they displayed their talent in song and dance.
The event was sponsored in part by: Grenadian General Insurance Co. Ltd, Ministry of Carriacou & Petit Martinique Affairs, Grenada National Lottery Authority and the Grenada Cultural Foundation.
